The cast is off! After four weeks, we were back at the doctor's for more x-rays. Seems the break was right above the growth plate which means fast healing! Four more weeks with a splint which means he can swim, bath and run. But still no hitting or crazy boy jumping. Looks like he'll be playing in the right outfield for 4 more weeks. He is so happy to be out there again!
The handed me the nasty, stinky cast after they took it off. I gladly handed it back and told them we'd taken photos to remember it by. (I drew the snake)
