Independent boy

We’ve been teaching Nick to be more independent. When he wants donut holes after school (give a working mom a break – I sometimes forget car snack and this is on the way!) I’ve been giving him the money and sending him in to order himself. He looks so proud when he emerges from DD with donuts and change in hand. Heck, he looks proud just to open the front door of DD by himself. No worries – I’m sitting right at the front door so that no one can get our little guy.
